At Agape, Bible, history, and literature are taught in step, so a student doesn’t just learn subjects. They learn how the whole story fits together, and they leave ready for whatever comes next.

Most schools teach subjects in isolation. A student reads literature in one room, studies history in another, and opens a Bible in a third, and the three never meet. At Agape, they’re taught in step. In a single year, the literature a student reads, the history they study, and the Scripture they open all move through the same span of time. Each class deepens the others instead of covering the same ground twice. And because Scripture comes first here, it isn’t one class among many. It’s the foundation the whole curriculum is built on. Even a math lesson here often begins in prayer.

The Ancient World
Creation to the Fall of Rome
Grammar in the fall, then the literature of the ancient world in the spring, from Genesis and Job to the great epics of the classical age.
The story of the ancient world, from creation through the rise and fall of Rome, the same centuries the literature is drawn from.
Old and New Testament, read in the light of the history unfolding alongside it. A daily class, built to go deep.
The foundations of defending the faith, so students learn not only what Scripture says but why it holds.
APOLOGETICS
Equipped to Defend What They Believe
It’s one thing to know what you believe. It’s another to defend it when the world pushes back. Apologetics is woven through the Agape curriculum, so students learn the reasons behind their faith, not just the conclusions. The fruit shows up in unexpected places. One of our seniors stood up at a regional speech competition, on a campus not known for welcoming the idea, and made the case that God exists, meeting every challenge with the answers from his apologetics class. Visitors have walked past our ballfields and overheard students debating Scripture on the sidelines. Our graduates leave able to defend what they believe, because they actually know what they believe and why.

Jack Lee, Union University
He’s studying pre-pharmacy, and he made the president’s list his first semester.
Two of his science professors emailed to ask who had taught him high school chemistry. He’d walked into their labs already knowing significant figures, a concept he says Mrs. Kaufman drilled into them until it stuck.
